Terms of Service

Effective 14 September 2026. These terms cover clarabit.ai, app.clarabit.ai, and the Clarabit MCP server at mcp.clarabit.ai, operated by Limeade Labs ("we", "us").

Clarabit is in early access. These terms are deliberately short: they describe what you can expect from us while the product is still changing, and what we expect from you. By creating an account or connecting Clarabit to an AI tool, you agree to them. If you are using Clarabit on behalf of a company, you are agreeing on its behalf too.

1. Early access

• Clarabit is free during early access. If we introduce paid plans later, we will tell you in advance and nothing you already have will be switched off without notice.
• Things will change. We may add, change, or discontinue features, tools, and integrations at any time. Where a change affects your data, we will give as much notice as we practically can.
• No uptime guarantee. The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to keep it up, but we do not promise it will be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may take it down for maintenance.
• Keep your own copies. During early access, treat Clarabit as a coordination layer, not your only copy of anything important. Your code should stay in your repository and your documents in your document store.

2. Your account

• You sign in with Google. You are responsible for keeping that access secure.
• You are responsible for everything done under your account, including actions taken by AI tools and agents you have connected. A tool call made in your name is your action.
• You must be at least 16 and able to enter into a contract to use Clarabit.

3. Your content

• It stays yours. You keep all rights to the tasks, pages, comments, context, and files you put into Clarabit. You give us only the licence we need to store it, back it up, and show it to the people and agents you have allowed into your workspace.
• You are responsible for it. Only upload content you have the right to share, and only share workspaces and pages with people you intend to.
• Do not upload secrets. Do not put passwords, API keys, access tokens, private keys, or other credentials into tasks, pages, comments, or context entries. Clarabit is not a secrets manager, and your AI tools will read what you store there.
• Do not use Clarabit to store or share anything unlawful, to harass people, to interfere with the service, or to probe or overload our systems.
• We do not use your content to train AI models. Clarabit runs no AI of its own; the AI tools you connect are governed by their own terms.

4. AI tools and agents

Clarabit works by exposing your workspace to AI tools through the Model Context Protocol. Those tools act under your permissions and can only do what you could do yourself. Every action is recorded under the identity that performed it. It is up to you to review what your agents do, and to decide what to approve. Human-only gates in the workflow (for example, moving work from review to done) exist so that a person always has the final say.

5. Ending things

• You can stop using Clarabit at any time: disconnect it from your AI tools, and email support@clarabit.ai to delete your account or workspace.
• We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, or that put the service or other users at risk. We will tell you why unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
• We may end the early-access program or the service itself. If we do, we will give notice and a reasonable window to export your data.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: Clarabit is provided without warranties of any kind; we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the service; and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Clarabit in the twelve months before the claim, which during early access is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

8. Changes to these terms

This is version 1. We may update these terms as Clarabit moves out of early access. When we do, we will update the version and effective date on this page and note material changes in the changelog. Continuing to use Clarabit after a change means you accept the new terms.
